Your reports seem about right. I would be interested to see if anyone else has seem the same type of luck I'm experiencing.

Hey coolnite, out of interest how are you running all these sims? Do you have access to a test game world where you can just generate whatever troops you want in zero time?

looking at all this simulators, is there a simulator that can show to amount of resources used to build the troops as well? For example : amount of resources lost for both attacker and defender

Yea that will be helpful to gauge what amount of resources can do the most impact or causes the enemy to lose more

I could implement that in my simulator if you would like
Thank you DeathAngle he and I have been running test for past few days and I believe his simulator is about as close as you will get to me actually running the test. Perfect simulator and out of the kindness of his heart has provided others to use it! Thanks DeathAngle.

Coolnite (or anyone willing to do it)
Could you please do 2 attacks as a test
On the first attack have the attacker have 300 rams (against a lvl 20 wall) and whatever attackers/deffenders you would like (as long as they are equal in provisions)
For the second attack do the same EXACT thing EXCEPT dont have any seige weapons of any kind.
I really need this tested within the next 3 days please

You mind doing this for me Coolnite?

from my calculations a nice and balanced defensive setup is 5/2/3/1x ; one with more def against infantery could be 8/5/3.
I also tried to balance the resources consumption
i have not calculated the recruitment time but my clear guess is that the 1st setup will be made a lot more faster then the 2nd one

Here you go:

Attack 1:
Offense: 250 rams and 3750 axes = 5000 provisions
Defense: 5000 swords level 20 wall

Attack 2:
Offense: 5000 axes 0 rams = 5000 provision
Defense: 5000 swords level 20 wall

DeathAngle as you requested. Sorry that it has taken so long.

I can explain all of this...
2100*300=630,000
3250*200=650,000

***THE BESERKERS WERE OUTNUMBERED BUT THE BONUS DIDNT GO INTO AFFECT WHAT THE HELL???***

630,000*0.9=567,000
650,000*2.0=1,300,000

(567,000/1,300,000)^.5/(1,300,000/567,000)=0.288
0.288*3250=936

I have predicted the result of the first battle with a 99% accuracy

So long story short there is a bug

Logically the beserkers should have double strength since they were outnumbered but as you can see that is not what happened, the battle executed as if the beserkers were stronger

so, when does berserkers fight with double strenght?

I don't know if this is a lot to ask but would anyone be able to test out the difference between an attack of:
- 10 times 100 axe on 1k spear, 1,5k sword and 1k archer
and
- 1k axe on the same defence
(with lvl 20 wall)
and post the end result?

and about the berserkers: have provisionals been calculated? because 1 berseker takes 6 provisions, and for example 1 sword takes 1 provision, so 1K sword doesn't outnumber 999 berserkers... but 6k does outnumber 999 berserkers? or do I totally have this wrong?

Great topic guys! I'm very interested because I was wondering about the better defensive build, now I see that defense always win. Also, I was planning to make 3.7k LC + 1k bersek + 200 rams, but now I'm unsure about the berserkers.

Hi all!

Is there any info about "berserker's bug"? I planned with those units, so it's good to know ;)

Wall 0:

***Updated***
So I just tested HC vs Beserkers 1 on 1:

Wall 0:
It take takes 3 HC to win against 1 Beserker

Wall 20:
It takes 7 Beserkers to win against 1 HC

I can explain all of this...
2100*300=630,000
3250*200=650,000

Coolnite i dont see a bug with the luck system. I said there was a bug with the Beserker special ability...

This question (I think) was not answered, and very very interesting
