What happened to my village?

I logged in to the game maybe over the weekend and my village was fine but when i logged in today it was gone and i was promted to start anew one, whats up with that?

It looks like your village was attacked and nobles were sent to conquer it from you. When a player loses their last/only village then they must restart and begin a new if they wish to keep playing.
Three days of being offline is an age in this game and players will take advantage of a target's inactivity.
