Troop Provisions > max farm Provisions

I was led to believe the maximum provisions 1 village could support was 24,000 with a lv30 farm, but the report shows an attack requiring over this, and the village is quite large, requiring provisions of its own. Is there a feature I am unaware of? I thought if you relocated more troops than a village could sustain they would be lost.

Can someone enlighten me, or is this cheating somehow?

bounty harvest item (which can be gotten from resource deposit sometimes as a 10k achievement, from crown deals, or gwens games/other inno made up games) boosts the provisions in a village by 10%.
bounty season (which as far as i know can only be gotten from gwens games/other inno made up games) gives 20% more provisions in a village.

so basically a bounty harvest on a level 30 farm village boosts the potential provisions in a village by 2400. I dont really like those items but its part of the game.
