Noble attacking villages - 5 attacks and still not conquered

I am routinely having to attack villages more than 4x to conquer them. In my recent attacks with one village, my attacks reduced loyalty by -20, -22, -26, -21 and -29. Not once even -30 Is there a way to increase Nobleman effectiveness?

Yes and no
There is that one weapon that you can equip with your paladin to conquer villages faster but first you need to conquer 10 or more villages (think it was 10)
so in short your luck just sucks

Also to add on to DeathAngle response you can use crowns to unlock the different levels needed as well.

Alright... just like with my dice-rolling then. I always seem to roll low thanks.

Five nobles and even level 1 of paladin weapon will always take out a village, no matter how low the other 4 are. Even 5 nobles would do the trick if you land them in the same hour unless you hit 20 on each. Statistically that's close to winning the lottery.
