All spies die, but still given a complete report

Just had this report. Both spies died, but I still received a full report of units. Seems like a bug.
Likely not limited to the browser client, but there doesn't appear to be a general bug reports forum.

Fair enough, given that if all troops die in a battle you get a blank report, I would have assumed the same for spies.

The chance of them providing a report is smaller, but it still exists even when all of them die. However, blood drop reports are unreliable.

If you think of it from a role playing point of view, your spy may have been mortally wounded, but able to make it back to supply some information, only to die moments/hours later. So in reality, this is a possibility for it to happen in real life, and is also a part of the game.
Due to it being a red report (You have the red blood droplet, rather than the green flag as the emblem for the report) you should always spy again anyway until you receive a 100% accurate report, as he may have troops our farming that it cannot see, or switched hit troops with countermeasures to make it harder to detect.
