Why do my spies keep dying every time I get spied?

Why dose it not tell me on my report who spied me???

Attacking spies fight defending spies. Sometimes defending spies die.

Sometimes you find out who spied on you, sometimes you don't. That is part of the success or failure of the spy mission.

What about countermeasures? Can I get a report with real units/buildings when countermeasures are on?
