We would like to warmly welcome you to the official forum of the Tribal Wars 2 Open Beta. You may be an experienced Tribal Wars player, or brand new to online strategy games. In either case, you will find support, information and a new and exciting community to share your common passion: Tribal Wars 2.
We would like to address a few General questions which you may have about the Open Beta phase of Tribal Wars 2:
What is the difference between Open and Closed Beta:
In the Closed Beta phase (which we are not in anymore) the game is still being developed and not everything may work as intended. Features may be missing but the core gameplay is available and functioning. In this phase we invite a few people to play and test with us in order to develop the game with their feedback in mind. We use Betakeys to limit the access to the game. If we would not limit the players, we would have trouble listening to feedback, and potentially something would be missed.
In the Open Beta phase (which we are in now) the game is also still in development, however is has already received some polishing and most features work as expected. Please note, we are still developing and testing the game in the open beta phase, and we still rely on the community to guide us in the right direction in terms of bugs, feedback and suggestions. This is also the reason why the game is now open to everyone (No Betakey needed) as we need the help of the entire community to evolve the game in the right direction.
When will the Open Beta phase of Tribal Wars 2 end?
Once we have ironed out the major bugs of the game, and we are satisfied with the quality the Open Beta tag will eventually be removed, but we will need the help of the community to accomplish this.
What can I do as a player to improve Tribal Wars 2:
To shape Tribal Wars 2 to your liking it is extremely important that your suggestions and ideas are heard. Please use the links provided below to post your comments, ideas and feedback in the correct place. Note that, even if we do not reply to your post, we always have game designers and moderators reading and gathering the feedback you post which is passed to the Development team.
