Old builds vs New?

Just started up on here.

Are there large benefits to using the new units of off and def? Or can i just stick to my tried and tested tw troop builds and expect the same results?

When in doubt go defensive. As you will read around a good defense is hard to beat

Perhaps i phrased it poorly.

I mean will my old tw offensive and defensive builds do the same job here? or will i need to incorporate teh new units into them?

The simple answer would be no it's a bit different if you look around the forums I have been posting battle reports per members request however it seems as though defense wins every time. Depending on how far you allow a defensive player to progress next to you will hurt you in the long run here. Then there's morale and other factors you will need to consider as well.
