Just started today, when trying to login, the progress bar gets about a quarter of the way and just stops, after a few mins of refreshing, it will login. Once logged in, after a short period of time the game stops responding, there is not connection window that pops up, but all actions in the game stop working, at that point restarting will lead you back to the quarter filled progress bar.

I think you will find this was another unannounced "Maintenance back in 5 minutes", we are all constantly getting this trouble lately, the mods are aware, and like us they all wish for advance warning of such things, so they can advise us in advance.
But except for the Game upgrades which are now being forewarned, these sudden maintenance episodes, appear to lack the on screen warning, leaving you with a frozen screen, or a "loading bar that stops at 15%".
We can only hope those doing the sudden maintenance get their screen messages active, but don't hold your breath too soon.

I have let our LCm know about this, hopefully we should not get anymore of these breaks without warning.
