General Discussion Sperlinga (EN97)

Status
Not open for further replies.
Few days later in Sperlinga realm, more and more wizards are joining. People play for half of month and can bearly have 3-4 towns.
While the wizards who are 4-7 days old already have 15+ towns. One wizard also has a full 22k axe nuke and he just joined for 4 days ago.
It is time for some lords to humbly say good bye to the realm and let wizards have their wizard wars.

P.S. Some other bard can continue the realms story.
What's a shame it's the same Wizards doing it on every World and nothing is done. Banned for 3 days...whatever....Banned for a week...I'll wave my magic wand back to where I was before I was banned......World Ban....just use one of my 4 other alt accounts.....again this has been going on for a while and INNO is more than aware of it.

We are more then aware of this situation. Should player would start by being more compliant lesser complaint would come in for sure about Multi account. As for those who cheat using bot script bug glitch just to name a few those will be caught, unfortunately some people makes it an habit to break these rules.

Long time player who took a break when the cheating via free troops became rampant. Had the itch to play again. Unfortunately I see nothing has changed.
how long will tribal wars last with the blatant scripting and the lack of punishment for those that do same people every server look at the maps smaller and smaller 3 players attacking me who play the game far quit server due to scripting from the top tribe we all know their name tabu on 1 server playing on toilet on another server and we have norweey tribe same players shame was once a good game

Left one world of cheaters to come to another one, was good for a week. Then the same guys from last world arrived..10 to 20 city's in 1 week..he has a 2k city and capped 7 barb's..I think I will try the other servers.

The wizard are very rich i think

And so the last few Lord players quit the realm and let the Wizards rule.
Using their 2 spells "dupe dupus" and "extra large nukes" they have gained an unbalanced advantage.
In the end they play alone in an abandoned realm, achieving nothing as no skill was gained.
The bard wonders how many other realms will be destroyed until the wizards realize that people are not mad or full of hate towards them,
just disappointed in them.

Like what's the reasoning for letting so many cheaters run rampant? Profit incentive? When up against cheating players, players will crown more? The cheaters also crown?

The cheaters use chargeback fraud for crowning. They set up an alt account, have it join their tribe and co-op other players - spending crowns from the alt account on their main villages. After a week or two, they will lodge a chargeback claim with their bank, the funds will be refunded and the alt account will be banned - yet the crowns have already been spent on their main. Rinse and repeat for free crowns.

Recommended fix: Co-ops can only spend crowns in the shop.

Has it ever occurred to Inno that the massive drop in player numbers is because of wide-spread cheating? Remove the cheaters and players will come back, increasing revenue. Invest in the games you make Inno, fix bugs and glitches, bring in new content (maybe like a weekly goals type thing with decent rewards). You gotta spend money to make money.

Good Day Gentlemen
Please use the report feature for any rules violations and we will address it should be find wrong doing. The reasoning for this is simple. The reason for a specific ban might not be obvious to a regular forum member but the moderators and supporters have tools at their disposal that can show different types of rule breaches or unwanted behaviour. Since those information are internal a case is usually a lot more complex than it might seem. Due to the internal nature of some information a ban can not be publicly discussed by Inno Games staff or volunteers and public discussions therefor lack all the facts and usually end in flame wars or witch hunts - neither of which we want to see on the forums.

If you have evidence of such please do submit them to support. I will however come back on this and provide further clarity on this subject

As I stated earlier there are various way's to procure they are subjected to strict rules. Any refunds requested are to be sent to Support. But please note that If the person used them then your right of revocation is forfeited or could be subjected to banning like you stated. Support will provide you specific way's on how to resolve your issue dependant of method of payment.

If someone does Fraud they may end up having more issues from their own Bank Institution they also have their own rules.

chargebacks are not illegal when customers feel they have a legitimate dispute.

I've already sent these to support but they don't even respond, nor take action against him - hence why I'm posting here. A simple reply of 'Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we've taken action against them' would suffice. Also, how is witch hunting obvious cheaters a bad thing?

Charge back fraud (or friendly fraud) is much more widespread for digital transactions as it's hard for banks to prove if the good/service has been delivered. I've had 1 or 2 players (in a previous realm) openly admit to using it.

Hello,

Please remember that you have the right to a refund when the product isn't spent and the purchase hasn't exceeded 14 days since it was made.

Addionally, support does investigate the cases. Two things should be mentioned;

1. The ticket category "breach of rules", as per InnoGame's decision, don't require a reply from moderators. Just because you don't receive a reply it doesn't mean that the support group isn't looking it. :)
2. Some infractions, like the abuse of glitches in Game/bot usage, will have to be taken care of at their own pace, and with the help of the programming department. Just because immediate changes aren't apparent to users, again, doesn't mean that actions are not taken to limit the amount and punish those who are using illegal software of bugs.

Thank you for your interest in the situation.

Just stop.. every player know you aint doing anything, cheaters have been in the last 5 worlds and reportet a million times nothing happens. I could ban aleast 50 players in 5 min just by looking at achievements in the last 2 worlds. Sperlinga is overtaking by cheaters, all players in top 20 is cheating. I know that players have even told you guys that they would fix the problems for free, but dont even get a reply

Thanks for the response.

Genuinely, what's the logic/reasoning behind not replying to 'breach of rules' tickets? It just feels like we're being ignored and nothing is being done. What are the punishments for breaching rules? If a cheater is banned for a week, shouldn't the person who reported have a right to know? Any action taken against the cheater whilst banned should be their just punishment, no?

With open and shut cases, like using a 30.5k nuke be handled quicker? As far as I'm aware, the only way that this sort of thing is possible is by exploiting the bug of double recruitment. If the hesitancy is due to the fact it's a bug - as in a fault of Inno, rather than the player - it's widely accepted that if a player is deliberately and repeatedly exploiting a bug to gain an unfair advantage, it is cheating. Ban the player for a week and during the week have the programming department look further into the issue so see if any other cheating is being done & if further punishment is warranted.

We appreciate all players who do help and keep our game free of rule-breakers rest assured.

We can assure you that we do take all rule-breaking seriously and we do investigate all reports regardless of what you may state.
Should we find sufficient evidence that rules were indeed broken, We do take appropriate actions.
Like Elmerine stated " Just because immediate changes aren't apparent to users, again, doesn't mean that actions are not taken to limit the amount and punish those who are using illegal software of bugs. "

Based on your suggestion you made this would give everyone an unfair advantage to use for yourself or anyone else against a reported player.

I would doubt fair play players would accept being potentially be targeted and receive a week BAN pending a review
