Building remains on timeline if finished early

The icon for a building continues on the timeline even after i click on the green checkmark to finish it early due to HQ level. This causes a popup error message once if i hover the mouse over the icon, saying not found.

Was the building that you were upgrading the Timber Camp by chance? There was an issue with the completion times not being correct that caused this error.
