To stay up-to-date with market developments, Apple regularly adjust s their pricing over time. The reasons for this are mainly foreign exchange (FX) rates and additional taxes (VAT). Whenever foreign exchange rates change or additional taxes are charged, pricing is adjusted.
InnoGames and all other developers have no control over Apple's pricing, which is based on a so-called pricing tier model. For each tier, Apple sets the prices in all supported currencies. As Apple is based in the US, their anchor currency is the US Dollar.
While Apple will never update its US prices, they will update prices in all other currencies for a particular tier based on currency conversion rates and tax changes.
To ensure a fair pricing environment among all of our games’ mobile platforms, InnoGames decided to keep Google Play and Apple App Store prices aligned. This means that whenever either Apple or Google update their prices, we will bring the prices on the other platform to the same level.
