New Top 10 Tribes Thread

A bit late with the update this week, but here I am with the news.
1652276866125.png

There are news aplenty to discuss. DlF have suffered a major collapse, with many of their members switching over to NWT, who has expanded massively as a result. As promised, AOD has vanished from the list, but I wish a warm welcum to Sesame Street Gang, who received a color that suits their tag.

Let's look at the rankings:
1. SFU (+141 villages, +12 players) - A massive bout of recruitment from SFU, who merged the smaller tribe of W*T (Wasting Time) and is now poaching players from Hip as well. Combining this with more conquest, SFU skyrocketed in amount of villages since last time. 5M obp (1st place) and 963k dbp (1st place). 7 players in the top 10 (no change) and 14 players in the top 20 (+4).
2. NWT (+97 villages, +3 players) - They brought in a lot more former DlF players and continue to expand at a rapid pace. This has brought them in a much more direct conflict with SFU, so it will be interesting to see how that war progresses. 1.8M obp (2nd place) and 804k dbp (3rd place). 2 players in the top 20 (-1).
3. Hip (-37 villages, -6 players) - Hip seems to have hit a brick wall and are leaking players at an alarming rate. This doesn't seem to have been triggered by external conflict, more like an internal collapse. 1.6M obp (3rd place) and 463k dbp (5th place). No players in the top 20 (-4).
4. DlF (-34 villages, -11 players) - Losing the war with SFU and losing players to NWT seems to have brought down DlF even further. They are now much more focused on the SW, so we'll see if that allows them to survive. 484k obp (6th place) and 905k dbp (2nd place). 2 players in the top 20 (no change).
5. NEW (+12 villages, +3 players) - A slight increase this week for NEW, which allows them to take 5th place. 713k obp (4th place) and 755k dbp (4th place). 1 player in the top 20 (+1).
6. EOG (-15 villages, -6 players) - A significant drop for EOG this time, their players being pushed more and more towards the rim. I have mentioned before my doubt in EOG lasting as a tribe, so we'll see if they recover once again. 33k obp (8th place) and 237k dbp (7th place). No players in the top 20 (-1).
7. ARC (+0 villages, +0 players) - If last time it felt like they stagnated, this time the numbers are identical, making me feel like they're doing it on purpose at this point. 79k obp (7th place) and 352k dbp (6th place). No players in the top 20 (no change).
8. CUM (+33 villages, +2 players) - Our new arrival in the top 10 (or top 8, depends how you look at it). A massive increase in the number of villages they control, mostly due to grabbing some good players from Hip, though I'm sure a bit of conquest played a part. 713k obp (5th place) and 117k dbp (8th place). 1 player in the top 20 (+1).

In terms of player rankings, here are some changes I've noticed:
* venroy777, the player on 2nd place has switched from Hip to CUM
* Rosar, the top 20 EOG player moved to NEW
* beetleman20 from Hip moved to SFU
* SirKillerWhale from DlF moved to NWT
* BabyChey from W*T moved to SFU

The current top 10 is:
1652277204526.png

And finally, let's look at each region:
NW
1652277833436.png

The core only sees the disappearance of several EOG dots and a DlF dot taken over by SFU. Moving North we see 4 DlF dots moving to NWT, and in the rim some ARC dots are now EOG, and several new dots appeared (NEW, SFU and EOG). The Western side sees a large number of Hip dots turning white (venroy), 2 NWT dots now part of NEW, 2 NWT dots just vanishing, and many EOG dots now part of NEW.

NE
1652278126223.png

The NE core was the sight of a massive coordinated attack by SFU which took 8 villages from Zimi (former DlF, current NWT player). Besides those, other DlF dots were taken over, while many of those not taken over by SFU have moved to NWT. Slightly towards the East 3 NEW dots have changed color (2 to SFU, 1 to NWT). The Northern region close to the core also sees a lot of transfers from DlF to NWT, while the rim shows even more NWT dots and a few NEW and DlF dots.

SW
1652278239885.png

The SW core regions see DlF taking over some NEW and AOD dots and SFU taking some DlF dots. Slightly further away we see many Hip dots changing colors, some to SFU and some to CUM. The lone NWT dot in the South is now part of Hip and in the rim we see new villages of all types.

SE
1652278433078.png

The SE seems like a totally different region since last time. In the core the amount of SFU dots multiplied, including 2 DlF dots taken over. The Eastern part sees the result of W*T merging with SFU, populating the map with purple dots. The SE part sees many Hip dots moving to SFU, some former AOD and DlF dots now part of SFU, as well as many of the CUM players. The Southern part sees more Hip -> SFU transfers, 4 former ARC dots now part of Hip, all NWT dots now part of CUM and more DlF dots showing up, either new or former AOD players. This area has definitely become more interesting with these latest developments.

That's it guys. See you next time.

Hello again. Your friendly neighbourhood reporter-man is back with the map update.
1652711102425.png

The collapse of DlF and Hip has continued, with the first dropping out of the top 10 entirely, while Hip holds 5th place. However one person's misfortune is another's windfall and SFU, NWT and especially CUM have been grabbing the active players.

At this point our top 10 has become a top 7, ignoring REE, BAR and JFF:
1. SFU (+85 villages, +3 players) - Continuing both to expand and take some of the best Hip players, SFU remains on top. With the new Hip players, the NE is the region where they have the least control due to the NWT presence. 6.5M obp (1st place) and 1.3M dbp (1st place). 7 players in the top 10 (no change) and 13 players in the top 20 (-1).
2. NWT (+60 villages, +4 players) - Some conquest and taking over a few last players from DlF allow NWT to keep pace with the first place. The NE is still their domain, though they now have a small core in the SW and they are slowly crawling to the SE as well. 2.2M obp (2nd place) and 1.1dbp (2nd place). 4 players in the top 20 (+2).
3. CUM (+116 villages, +21 players) - Massive recruitment, taking players from all of the collapsing tribes. At this point they have a band of players going around the rim from the NW to the SE, with a few scattered players in other spots.1.9M obp (3rd place) and 963k dbp (3rd place). 2 players in the top 20 (+1).
4. NEW (+14 villages, +4 players) - Despite being pushed back everywhere, they are holding on especially in the Western rim, mostly at the cost of EOG. 709k obp (5th place) and 789k dbp (4th place). 1 player in the top 20 (no change).
5. Hip (-76 villages, -12 players) - As mentioned they had a massive collapse, with all good players and the founder leaving. They still have many players focused on the SW, but it remains to be seen if they will rally or vanish. 864k obp (4th place) and 556k dbp (5th place). No players in the top 20 (no change).
6. ARC (-4 villages, -2 players) - The stable tribe of ARC had a small dip this time. Their players are scattered everywhere, so I still don't expect them to ever make an impact on the happenings in the server. 48k obp (6th place) and 350k dbp (6th place). No players in the top 20 (no change).
7. EOG (-12 villages, -6 players) - 16k obp (7th place) and 202k dbp (7th place). No players in the top 20 (no change).

In terms of player rankings, here are some updates:
* Vandal2, the 4th place player has moved from DlF to CUM, as did BullsBears (26th)
* Xelsorsior and SirKillerWhale from NWT have climbed the rankings 21 and 10 places respectively
* pauljohncruz (33rd), formerly of Hip is now without a tribe
* TheNi, a former DlF core player lost 5 of his 8 villages to SFU

The top 10 is:
1652710953645.png

And finally, a closer look per region:
NW
1652711251550.png

The core sees some Hip dots either going to SFU or going dark entirely. This same thing happens towards the West, before we start seeing Hip players switching to CUM. A NWT dot was taken over by CUM, as did a NEW dot. We also see NEW going towards the rim, taking over 5 EOG dots. Towards the North 2 EOG dots turned into NWT ones, and 2 SFU dots have gone dark.

NE
1652711497824.png

The NE core sees some players switching to CUM, but also a bit more expansion towards the North by SFU. Towards East there is a NEW dot changing hands to SFU, and in the rim 2 ARC dots are now NWT. Other than that it's pretty quiet, with just more NEW and NWT dots popping up.

SW
1652711641464.png

The SW sees massive changes, with the former DlF dots changing to NWT, CUM and SFU. There are also dozens of dots moving from Hip to either SFU or CUM. The West rim sees more of the NEW expansion, usually at the cost of EOG. Also, CUM expanded to the South enough that I had to leave a white band on the left. Jerks.

SE
1652711918362.png

The SE is a bit more stable than last time. The core sees more SFU dots popping up, some at the cost of former DlF. Moving East we see a NWT dot taken by SFU, but also a lot of NWT dots being born. Going South from the core 2 ARC dots are now Hip, more Hip dots moved to SFU and SFU and CUM have shared the former DlF dots.

This is it guys. Seems things are slowly stabilizing, though Hip may collapse entirely. Maybe we can start talking more about war than recruitment.

I'm baaaack!
1653300686419.png

This week we need to remark on the tragic (and predicted) death of ARC. No tribe has climbed up enough to take their place (I'm using JFF as the threshold now), so we're left with 6. SFU is in conflict with both NWT and CUM at the moment, making for some interesting developments.

The rankings are:
1. SFU (+68 villages, -1 player) - SFU is locked in battles with NWT and CUM, but are growing despite this. 9.2M obp (1st place) and 2M dbp (2nd place), a major increase in obps from last time. 7 players in the top 10 (no change) and 13 players in the top 20 (no change).
2. NWT (+72 villages, +2 players) - NWT continues to increase their dominion in the NE, rolling over some SFU players, and slightly expanding through the rim in the SW. They have lost some battles near the core with SFU. 3.3M obp (2nd place) and 2.2M dbp (1st place). 3 players in the top 20 (-1).
3. CUM (+53 villages, +4 players) - CUM has recruited more of the former Hip players and are now involved in fights with SFU across the map. Success is mixed so far, well see how this progresses. 3M obp (3rd place) and 1.9M dbp (3rd place). 2 players in the top 20 (no change).
4. NEW (+21 villages, +0 players) - Slow and steady wins the race for NEW, as they keep expanding at a slow but seemingly constant pace lately. 735k obp (4th place) and 802k dbp (4th place). 2 players in the top 20 (+1)
5. EOG (+17 villages, +5 players) - More of their dots have been pushed away from the regions closer to the core, so they still hold the position of victims for the other tribes. 54k obp (6th place) and 402k dbp (6th place). No players in the top 20 (no change).
6. Hip (-47 villages, -8 players) - The collapse is almost complete for Hip. Most of their players are now part of other tribes (SFU and CUM), and the remaining players don't seem to put up a fight. I feel like they may be gone entirely for next week's rankings. 723k obp (5th place) and 719k dbp (5th place). No players in the top 20 (no change).

In terms of player rankings, here are some updates:
* Xelsorsior from NWT has left the top 50 (was 21st)
* pauljohncruz (former 33rd) who was without a tribe also left the top 50, as did Cipher Nine (42nd from SFU) - both as a result of losing their villages
* LoneWolfChriss is the NEW player who climbed to the top 20, from outside the top 50
* SirKillerWhale is the NWT player that dropped out from the top 20, now on 47th place, as a result of losing some villages in the conflict with SFU

The current top 10 is:
1653301084448.png

And now a closer look at the regions:
NW
1653301502647.png

The core sees more SFU expansion, though a NEW dot also popped up. Going North some EOG dots have vanished, then we see a NWT dot and an EOG dot both taken by SFU. Further North a former ARC dot is now SFU before we reach the rim, where NWT has expanded considerably, in some places at the cost of EOG. If we move our gaze West from the core we see the effects of the conflict between SFU and CUM, which saw many dots trade colors with eachother. The rim sees more NEW dots, as well as some EOG and SFU ones.

NE
1653302194983.png

The NE sees the conflict between SFU and NWT. In the core SFU seems to be winning, more orange dots now becoming purple, but the regions a bit farther from the core see NWT taking over the SFU villages. Slightly North from the core we get some CUM dots changing to NWT, but 5 previously tribeless dots are now white. The outer rim sees a few NEW, CUM and EOG dots lost amongst the sea of orange.

SW
1653302398404.png

The SW core sees a few more Hip players switching to CUM, though some white dots have gone dark or been taken over by SFU and NWT. Slightly further away from the core there are more Hip players switching to CUM, and in the rim we see CUM expansion to the South and a lot of EOG dots popping up towards the far West.

SE
1653302675222.png

The SE is a bit quieter this time around. There is a slight expansion by SFU in the core, and an NWT dot went dark towards the South. More towards the rim some Hip dots changed to CUM and some CUM dots changed to SFU. The middle of the map shows a lone NWT dot taken by SFU, while the SE rim shows more CUM dots taken over by SFU. The Eastern rim shows some former ARC dots now part of SFU and no other changes.

I would also like to remark that game has been experiencing many issues lately. This has led to many players being unable to log in entirely at points (like venroy, the 2nd place player from CUM, who was fighting SFU). This is a problem and it actually affects the wars going on, which is not ok.

That's it for now. As mentioned last time, we seem to be transitioning more towards observing fights, rather than recruitment, so that will be fun. Unless something major happens, I'll probably go with weekly updates going forward, so I wish you all the best, and see you next week!

New update is here! Sorry about the delay, had a terrible headache yesterday which stopped me from doing the planned update. I still intend for this to be put out every Monday.
1653988307414.png

I think at this point (unless we see another tribe collapse), we have our decisive battle for the server: SFU vs CUM towards the SW and SFU vs NWT towards the NE.

The rankings are:
1. SFU (+100 villages, +2 players) - SFU is still fighting on all sides, though some wars are going better than others. The NE seems to be mostly a stalemate at the moment, and the SE is the sight of some painful losses. The West side is going much better, with CUM seemingly being pushed back. 12.7M obp (1st place) and 3.9M dbp (1st place), another large increase, but also noteworthy that the dbps have almost doubled, which shows that people are fighting back much more against SFU, forcing them on the defensive in areas. 6 players in the top 10 (-1) and 12 players in the top 20 (-1).
2. NWT (+62 villages, -1 player) - Still going at a steady pace, trying to gain footholds in the SE and NW through the rim. 4.1M obp (2nd place) and 2.9M dbp (3rd place). 3 players in the top 20 (no change).
3. CUM (+10 villages, -4 players) - Just a minor increase from last time, the battles with SFU clearly taking a toll. 3.9M obp (3rd place) and 2.9M dbp (2nd place). 4 players in the top 20 (+2).
4. NEW (+15 villages, -1 player) - The Western rim is still their home. Not sure if they want to be or will be involved in any conflicts going forward. 952k obp (4th place) and 883k dbp (4th place). 1 player in the top 20 (-1)
5. EOG (+9 villages, +0 players) - Nothing really to say about them. They are mostly ignored now due to the conflicts taking place around them. 49k obp (6th place) and 448k dbp (6th place). No players in the top 20 (no change).
6. Hip (-18 villages, -4 players) - Nothing much to say here either, they're continuing their downward trend, losing players and villages everywhere. 347k obp (5th place) and 664k dbp (5th place). No players in the top 20 (no change).

In terms of player rankings, some changes I've noticed:
* venroy777, the second place player lost 4 villages, we may see him drop in the rankings soon
* Mike.Blood of NWT jumped to 9th place from outside the top 50
* killerking0607 from NWT had a massive spike, conquering 13 villages (currently on 3rd place)
* elchapo from CYT remains the only non-"top 6 tribes" player in the top 50 (and has been there for at least 3 weeks)

Here is the current top 10:
1653988934318.png

And going in for a detailed comparison:
NW
1653989101378.png

The NE core sees the last few dots of a different color (1 NEW, 2 Hip) being taken over by SFU. The Northern rim sees 3 EOG dots turning orange, as well as more NWT dots popping up. The NW rim now contains 2 extra CUM spots, while a bit further in SFU expanded massively. Towards the West a lot of white dots (9) were taken over by SFU, while the rim continues to be the place where NEW is expanding and staying alive. Seems SFU is successfully pushing towards the rim.

NE
1653989349118.png

The NE continues to be the NWT playground. The core sees a bit of SFU expansion, with 1 NEW and 1 NWT dot eaten up besides the new dots appearing. However everything else is just more orange popping up and a few CUM dots here and there, especially towards the rim.

SW
1653989446475.png

In the SW there are battles taking place in the core. 4 NWT dots are now SFU, as are 3 CUM and 1 Hip villages. Towards the South there is one more white to purple transition, but otherwise it looks pretty quiet, with a bit of expansion in the darkness by SFU and CUM. The Western side brings a bit more violence, with some Hip dots taken by SFU towards the core, and CUM losing 5 villages to SFU further West. One NEW dot was taken by CUM, and one Hip dot is part of NEW, but other than that there's just more expansion at the cost of smaller tribes or barbarians.

SE
1653989669235.png

The SE is the site of NWT victories, especially towards the Eastern rim, where 5 SFU dots are now orange. 1 NEW village was taken by SFU, as did 5 CUM villages, though they did take 2 in return. The Southern part is boring, with just some CUM expansion.

That's it for now. See you next Monday!

Monday update has arrived, with more news.
1654503083350.png

Two more tribes have passed my arbitrary threshold this week, CYT and NHS passing the victory points of JFF. Besides that, the Western conflict between SFU and CUM has ended with a decisive SFU victory, who then proceeeded to poach some good CUM and NEW players. In the East, victories are split, with NWT still putting up a great fight against SFU.

The rankings are:
1. SFU - 846 villages (+198) and 50 players (+5) - Winning the war in the West against CUM and recruiting some players from CUM and NEW afterwards definitely cements first place for SFU. 16.4M obp (1st place) and 6.2M dbp (1st place). 8 players in the top 10 (+2) and 14 players in the top 20 (+2).
2. NWT - 569 villages (+58) and 58 players (no change) - Still involved in heavy fighting againt SFU, this time wins are losses are a lot more split. 5.4M obp (2nd place) and 4M dbp (2nd place). 4 players in the top 20 (+1).
3. CUM - 184 villages (-83) and 36 players (-5) - A lot of losses since last time, both in terms of fights and players that abandoned a sinking ship. They still hold a lot of power in the South. 2.6M obp (3rd place) and 2.6M dbp (3rd place). 2 players in the top 20 (-2).
4. NEW - 115 villages (-33) and 41 players (-2) - Still holding positions in the Western rim, but a few of their best players have now moved to SFU. 736k obp (4th place) and 964k dbp (4th place). No players in the top 20 (-1)
5. EOG - 78 villages (-15) and 34 players (-4) - After some stable increases the past few times, this time they take a noticeable dip. 52k obp (7th place) and 564k dbp (6th place). No players in the top 20 (no change).
6. Hip - 42 villages (-4) and 15 players (no change) - A small number of villages lost since last time, I don't see Hip recovering or posing any sort of threat to anyone anymore. 440k obp (5th place) and 790k dbp (5th place). No players in the top 20 (no change).
7. CYT - 68 villages (+19) and 8 players (+3) - A NW tribe composed of players that have a large amount of villages. Decently compact, they form a wedge in the SFU blob in the area. 410k obp (6th place) and 212k dbp (7th place). No players in the top 20 (no change).
8. NHS - 30 villages (+2) and 15 players (no change) - Another NW tribe, spread on the rim. Nothing much to say about them yet. 22k obp (8th place) and 35k dbp (8th place) shows this is not a tribe involved in a lot of fighting yet. No players in the top 20 (no change).

In terms of player updates, here are some highlights:
* venroy777 of CUM has died completely (formerly 2nd place)
* Vandal2 (9th place) and BullsBears (29th) switched from CUM to SFU
* Rosar (22nd) and ROLordSpike (23rd) switched from NEW to SFU

The current top 10 is:
1654503116884.png

NW
1654503945919.png

The NW was the sight of a decisive victory from SFU. While the core remains unchanged, the West sees all white dots changing to SFU due to conquest. One of the two NWT dots also changed hands in the area, and we also see the result of NEW players switching, as more than half of the white blue dots are now purple as well. The Northern parts show us the positions of CYT and NHS, and it also shows that a good number of former EOG dots are now part of CYT. NWT is also expanding through the Northern rim.

NE
1654504280000.png

The only change in the core is a couple of NEW dots going dark. Towards the North an NWT dot is now SFU, and more NWT dots are popping up at the cost of smaller tribes or barbarians. Slightly East from the core one more NWT dot was taken by SFU. The rest of the area only shows more NWT expansion ad a couple of new CUM dots.

SW
1654504501123.png

The SW core remains unchanged since last time, but the rim sees a lot of changes. The West shows NEW dots moving to SFU, and many CUM dots changing hands as well, many of them by force. 2 EOG dots changed to NEW as well in the area. The South and South-West areas see more CUM switching to SFU and 2 Hip dots taken by SFU.

SE
1654504698243.png

The SE is where NWT got their victories this time. While the core is unchanged, the East sees multiple SFU dots taken by NWT. The Southern part sees 5 CUM dots changing to SFU.

That's it for this week guys. See you next week!

I'm back with our regularly scheduled update. Here's how the map looks like:
1655111760261.png

You may notice a few absences since last time: Hip and NHS have both dropped out. NHS lost some players and dropped all the way to 12th place, while Hip has disbanded entirely. The war between SFU and NWT is heating up, with the NE being mostly at a stalemate, while NWT keeps expanding in the NW and SE.

The rankings are:
1. SFU - 958 villages (+112) and 50 players (no change) - SFU is eating up the remnants everywhere while struggling against NWT. 18.5M obp (1st place) and 7.3M dbp (1st place). 8 players in the top 10 (no change) and 15 players in the top 20 (+1).
2. NWT - 691 villages (+122) and 59 players (+1) - NWT is still expanding rapidly and fighting SFU. They seem to be in good relations with CYT, allowing them to infiltrate the NW. 6.7M obp (2nd place) and 4.8M dbp (2nd place). 3 players in the top 20 (-1).
3. CUM - 160 villages (-24) and 24 players (-12) - Still losing villages and players in all areas. SE is the only stronghold that still seems to be putting up a fight. 2.8M obp (3rd place) and 3.4M dbp (3rd place). 2 players in the top 20 (no change).
4. NEW - 87 villages (-28) and 40 players (-1) - Massive losses in terms of villages this week after they lost some of their best players last time to SFU. 758k obp (4th place) and 1.5M dbp (4th place). No players in the top 20 (no change)
5. EOG - 79 villages (+1) and 34 players (no change) - Nothing much to say, still floating along. 52k obp (6th place) and 587k dbp (5th place). No players in the top 20 (no change).
6. CYT - 85 villages (+17) and 8 players (no change) - Still expanding in the NW, though only in terms of villages, not players. 463k obp (5th place) and 220k dbp (6th place). No players in the top 20 (no change).

Not many noteworthy things happening in the top players:
* Benko from SFU has a large jump of 12 villages taken to get to 2nd place
* the only 2 players in the top 50 not in the top 3 tribes are elchapo (CYT - 43rd) and Marsu (no tribe - 50th)

The current top 10 looks like this:
1655111876942.png

And now, a closer look at the regions:

NW
1655112528276.png

The NW core is almost unchaged, just some NEW dots going dark, but there are major developments in the North. Dozens of NWT dots have appeared, a couple being former NHS ones. CYT has also continued their expansion in the area. The West sees a few NEW dots going dark, a few taken by SFU, and the final NWT dot turning purple. Overall the NW is firmly in control of SFU, but CYT and NWT seem to be trying to push in from the rim.

NE

The NE continues to be an NWT stronghold. CUM has almost been kicked out from the core, the dots switching to NWT. A few new SFU dots have popped up, but we also see SFU losing 1 village to NWT. The far North sees more NEW losses, while the East sees a couple more CUM dots now part of NWT and a few new CUM dots on the rim.

SW
1655113068655.png

The SW is dominated by SFU. The core sees a couple of new CUM, SFU and NWT dots, but at the cost of barbarians or smaller tribes. In the West many NEW and CUM dots were taken over by SFU, NEW dots have gone dark here as well, and we see Hip mostly going dark as a result of them disbanding, with just a few villages taken by SFU. The South also sees SFU expansion at the cost of mostly CUM players.

SE

The SE is an interesting front. SFU is dominating, but NWT is expanding fast to take them on. The core boasts 7 new NWT dots (1 former CUM), though they lost 1 village to SFU. Further South some former Hip dots are now SFU, 1 CUM village was also taken by SFU and there are a few new NEW dots. The East is mostly the same, with 1 SFU conquest, but the SE has sprouted a large group of NWT dots.

That's all folks.

A new week, a new map.

The map has lost another member in the rankings, but this week it's due to a merger. CYT (Corso Young Team) has joined NWT, allowing them to strengthen their hold in the NW. We'll see if this helps NWT out, as in the last week they have sustained some important losses in the NE.

The rankings are:
1. SFU - 1113 villages (+155) and 50 players (no change) - SFU remains in first with a series of wins against the remnants of CUM, NEW, but also against NWT in the NE. 22.6M obp (1st place) and 8.4M dbp (1st place). 8 players in the top 10 (no change) and 17 players in the top 20 (+2).
2. NWT - 868 villages (+177) and 65 players (+6) - Swallowing CYT and more expansion allows them to grow faster than SFU despite some recent losses. 8M obp (2nd place) and 7.7M dbp (2nd place). 2 players in the top 20 (-1).
3. CUM - 130 villages (-30) and 30 players (+6) - Another round of losses in every region by CUM, only the SE seems to hold up. 2.8M obp (3rd place) and 3.4M dbp (3rd place). 1 player in the top 20 (-1).
4. EOG - 82 villages (+3) and 36 players (+2) - Their consistency is amazing, considering this is a tribe that doesn't ever attack people. They climbed up a spot due to NEW collapsing, and may even pass CUM at this rate. 60k obp (5th place) and 683k dbp (5th place). No players in the top 20 (no change).
5. NEW - 56 villages (-31) and 35 players (-5) - Another round of massive losses, this seems like the end of the line for them. 690k obp (4th place) and 1.5M dbp (4th place). No players in the top 20 (no change)

In terms of player changes, some news:
* G0R4K P0W has deleted his account (former NWT, 14th place)
* SamDeWise and jimmyaik are the only CUM players left in the top 50 (20th and 21st)
* there are no other players not in SFU or NWT in the top 50 other than the two above
* I dropped out of the top 10 :(

The current top 10 is:

And finally, a closer look at the regions:
NW
1655726290769.png

The NW is the site of the merger - all CYT players joined NWT. We can see that amongst the red dots, there were also 2 NEW dots that were taken by NWT in the crossfire and 2 EOG dots taken by SFU. The rim towards the West sees a cluster of 7 NWT dots joining the party as well, and further South 5 NEW dots are now part of SFU. Nearer to the core an orange dot turned purple, and further up North an EOG dot was taken by NWT.

NE
1655726740773.png

The NE has changed quite a bit since last time. The core no longer contains any NEW dots, with one taken by SFU and the 2 by NWT. NWT also ate up the last CUM dot there. In terms of the war between NWT and SFU, there have been developments, with 13 villages taken by SFU and only 1 taken in return by NWT.

SW
1655727009368.png

The SW core sees 9 CUM and 8 NWT dots taken by SFU, a decisive victory here as well. Further South 4 NEW and 1 CUM dots were also swallowed by SFU, and several NEW and CUM dots also went dark. The SW rim sees a bit of EOG expansion, but also NEW players going dark and a new group of 4 NWT dots. The Western rim sees more of the same: 8 white and 2 light blue dots are now purple.

SE
1655727296186.png

The SE sees a bit of a stalemate between NWT and SFU. They have both expanded, but only 1 SFU dot was taken by NWT, the rest of the SFU and NWT dots being at the cost of smaller tribes or barbarians (and 1 NEW dot). Nothing else of interest seems to be going on in the area for now.

See you next Monday!
